Hemma Kearney is an internationally renowned filmmaker who has the incredible ability to be involved in every part of the production process – from concept to completion. She travels the world and produces films for small businesses, not-for-profit organisations and multi-national companies whom have all sung her praise. Her work boasts an array of advertising campaigns, promotional videos, powerful animations and anything in between.
Hemma has over 10 years of industry experience and started out doing a degree in Film at Bond University. During her last year at university she developed a career in feature films and TV, notably Narnia, Australian Fashion Week, Fox Sports and various music video clips. She was then inspired to make her own films again and from there Show + Tell Productions was born.
Dealing directly with clients and creating great working relationships is what she holds most important within all her diverse day-to-day activities. She knows that to have such high quality video products is credit to the people behind the scenes who bring the idea to life and she only works with a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals, without compromise.
Among all of this she is also the Vice President of the Australian Cinematographer’s society’s Queensland branch and teaches at Bond University on the Gold Coast along with various institutions and schools in the UK. She has run workshops for those without any video experience, produced a re-make of Fantastic Mr Fox with primary school children and set up and trained an in-house video team for the Changing Lives Project who then became self-sufficient with their video production.
However! These are just words, so less talking and see the stories she has created for yourself...
